Numerology is the ancient practice of converting letters into
numbers (A=1, B=2, C=3, etc), and comparing the results to
uncover the hidden associations between words. Numerology is
a study of numbers, and the occult manner in which they
reflect certain aptitudes and character tendencies, as an
integral part of the cosmic plan. Each letter is said to
posses a numeric value that provides a related cosmic
vibration. The sum of the numbers in your birth date and the
sum of value derived from the letters in the name provide an
interrelation of vibrations. These numbers show a great deal
about character, purpose in life, motivations, and talents.
Experts in numerology use numbers to determine the best time
for major moves and activities in life. Numerology is used to
decide the best time to invest, marry, travel, change jobs,
or relocate.
Types
of Numerology:The
three major forms of numerology in use today are the
Kabbalah, the Chaldean and the Pythagorean.
The
Kabbala:
means knowledge that comes through the mind and soul rather
than through a teacher. This originated in Hebrew mysticism,
and interprets only the meaning of the name. The Kabbalah was
developed for the Hebrew alphabet, and therefore has only 22
vibrations ranging from 1 to 400. It was adapted for the
Greek alphabet, then further adapted for the Roman alphabet.
Chaldean
numerology:
was originally developed in Ancient Babylon (now Iraq), and
combines Kabbalistic name interpretation with aspects of
astrology. 9 is considered holy and therefore is kept apart
from other vibrations, except when it results as the sum of
vibrations (e.g., from an individual's name). In Chaldean
numerology, compound numbers always used. Single digits
represent the outer aspects of a person, while double digits
reveal inner influences.
The
Pythagorean method:
was developed by Pythagoras, a Greek mathematician and
metaphysician who lived during the 6th century BC. Pythagoras
was as interested in metaphysics and spiritual development as
he was in math, so it's no wonder then why he joined the two
disciplines
This is the science of numbers. This is a branch of the
divine science i. e. Astrology that is completely based on
numbers. This is a complete mathematical calculation.
This is not as tough as the traditional or the western
astrology.
There are only nine numbers in Numerology (1 to 9) and all
other numbers are the derived these nine numbers. For
instance if the number is 29 or it will be calculated thus:
2+9=11. Now when added up again, it becomes 1+1=2. So
resultant number is 2.
All the numbers have their own significance. The need is to
follow them as per the numerological terms. Simply from your
date of birth all-important happenings of the past, present
or the future may be calculated. You would know the general
analysis of your personality and character very easily. You
can find your lucky numbers, days, colours and stones. A
ready-made chart for the same is also given for your day to
day activities or perusal.
This is not a sheer western science, but was highly accepted
and used even in the ancient times. It has sanctity in Vedas.
Our old Rishis and saints have spoken or written a lot on
numerology. Even the rulers of ancient India have followed
this divine science through the seers and sages. Numerology
can really help mankind by showing him the actual path of the
life, by telling him the good and bad events of life, so that
he can plan accordingly, to have the better results, avert
casualties of life thus reducing the intensity of problems.
When
you are planning on buying a new car or a house, numerology
would be handy. It will help select numbers, colours and the
days on which the transaction of the same should take place.
Nothing
is beyond numbers or grip of planets. You will feel how
numbers play an important role in life. The important
happenings of life happen automatically, as per your lucky or
unlucky numbers. Indian writer Mr. Ravinder Kumar has very
profoundly written about the numbers in his book of
numerology. It helps in understanding Basic Numbers, Compound
Numbers, Karmic Numbers, Destiny Numbers, Talent Numbers,
Heart Numbers, Challenge Numbers etc. You can set the letters
of your name, as per your date of birth and can have peace,
harmony and the better results in the life, because all the
